2026-2027 NYC Concert Series
Parthenia Viols’ 2026–2027 NYC Concert Season offers our favorite early repertoire and presents a premiere of some exciting new music. In December we revisit our beloved Christmas program of Elizabethan carols, fantasias and dances, with soprano Molly Netter. In February, ancient and contemporary music from Japan, America and Europe will juxtapose old and new, Eastern and Western traditions with the artists of Duo YUMENO. Rounding out our series in May we celebrate the genius of John Dowland in a program pairing his iconic Lachrimae Pavan with lighthearted ayres and dances, with lutenist Christopher Morrongiello and a vocal ensemble.
AS IT FELL ON A HOLIE EVE
Following a long-treasured tradition of music for Christmas, Parthenia presents a sparkling array of songs, dances and carols from Elizabethan England.
