The sound of the viol was treasured throughout Europe for its ability to emulate the human voice and to move the emotions of those who heard it. Our concert shares how England’s courts and chapels were graced by this beautiful instrument, across three centuries. Guests: Arnie Tanimoto and Caroline Nicolas. Recorded in a live performance on Sunday, May 3, 2026 at The Actor’s Chapel at St. Malachy’s Church in Manhattan.
